Summer Rain

It was a gray drizzly Summer day. A relief from the recent heat. I was longing to shoot in the even noon light. As luck would have it, Christine was off from work and within the hour we were out and ready to shoot. I love the contrast of the dry flowers with the wet day. A behind the scenes view of our set up. the backdrop did tip over a few times and ducks came to investigate hoping we might have some bread for them. The rain began to pick up again making lovely rings on the waters surface.


A funny moment for a solemn photo, we both started singing "If I die young." By the Band Perry. There's something almost alive about wet hair.


This is some of your best work. It's moving, graceful, powerful, brilliant. I love it.
